Sourdough bread, pastries, and more, fresh to order.

I bake sourdough, cookies, and a few sweet things out of my kitchen in El Dorado County — a few dozen at a time, for whoever asks that week. Fill in the order form and I'll put you on the list.

What I'm baking

This is the regular list, and there will be more at my stand. If you want something that isn't on it, ask me — I'll tell you honestly whether I can do it that week.

Sourdough breads Naturally leavened, cold-fermented a day or two

  • Plain sourdough$10 A classic country loaf with a crisp crust, open crumb, and mild tang.
  • Jalapeño cheddar sourdough$12 Sharp cheddar and jalapeño baked into the loaf, with noticeable heat.
  • Chocolate raspberry sourdough$14 Chocolate and raspberry folded into the dough.

Loaves are sold whole and unsliced, which helps them stay fresh longer.

Individual treats By the piece or whole loaf

  • Sourdough lemon loaf cake$4 / $20 Moist lemon loaf cake, $4 per slice or $20 per whole loaf.
  • Sourdough brownies$6 Rich, dense chocolate brownies, $6 each.

Cookie packs Half dozen or dozen

  • Sourdough chocolate chip cookies$12 / $20 $12 per half dozen or $20 per dozen. Discounts on 2 dozen or more.

A bake stand in Cameron Park

I'm building a little stand on our property, so you can stop by for a loaf without ordering ahead. It'll carry the regular list, plus extras that you'll only find at the stand.

How ordering works

No app, no account, no checkout. You send me a form, I write back, and you come get it.

1. Order by Wednesday

Tell me what you'd like and which Saturday. Orders need to be in at least 3 days ahead, so Wednesday is the cutoff for Saturday — the dough gets mixed on Thursday.

2. I'll write back

You'll get an email back with the total, any questions I have, answers to yours, and your pickup or drop-off time. Nothing's owed until you say yes.

3. Come get it

Saturday pickup in Cameron Park, or I'll drop it off for a fee that depends on how far out you are.

I started baking a few years ago, and my specialty is sourdough bread and cookies. Fill out the order form to be added to the list!

It's a home kitchen

I'm a registered California cottage food operation, not a commercial bakery — registered with the county rather than inspected like a restaurant. Every label says so.

Allergens

Everything has wheat and gluten, and most things have dairy or eggs. I also bake with nuts and sesame in the same kitchen, so nothing here is allergen-free. Ask me if you need specifics.

Straight from my kitchen to you

Cottage food rules mean I sell straight to you. Pickup in Cameron Park is free; local delivery around El Dorado County adds a fee based on distance; and soon you'll be able to stop by the stand. I don't ship, and I'm not in any shops.

Big orders

A dozen loaves for an event needs about two weeks' notice so I can build the starter up to it.

If plans change

Cancel or change your order with at least 24 hours' notice and it's no trouble at all.

Tell me what you'd like

Fill this in and it lands in my inbox. I'll write back with a total and a pickup or drop-off time — usually within a day. Everything is made to order, and one home oven only holds so much, so each week's spots fill up fast.

Pickup or drop-off You pay when you get your order. I prefer cash, but digital payment options are available for a small fee.
Delivery adds a fee based on how far you are from Cameron Park. I'll work it out and put it in the total when I write back.
